UNDERSTAND THE BALANCE OF NATURE LEAD YOUR LIFE...

The balance of nature refers to the theory that ecological systems are usually in a stable equilibrium (homeostasis), which is to say that a small change in some particular parameter (the size of a particular population, for example) will be corrected by some negative feedback that will bring the parameter back to its original "point of balance" with the rest of the system. It may apply where populations depend on each other, for example in predator/prey systems, or relationships between herbivores and their food source. It is also sometimes applied to the relationship between the Earth's ecosystem, the composition of the atmosphere, and the world's weather.
The Gaia hypothesis suggests that the Earth and its ecology may act as co-ordinated systems in order to maintain the balance of nature

History of the theory

The concept is very old; Herodotus described the relationship between predator and prey species, and commented on how they were in an essentially static balance, with predators never excessively consuming their prey populations. The "balance of nature" concept once ruled ecological research, as well as once governing the management of, natural resources. This led to a doctrine popular among some conservationists that nature was best left to its own devices, and that human intervention into it was by definition unacceptable

Counter-arguments

The concept has been criticised in recent times as being a pseudoscientific fallacy. It was first put into question when a substantial number of studies showed that predator/prey populations display a continuing state of disturbance and fluctuation rather than constancy and balance. It has been proposed by some scientists that ecological communities of plants and animals are inherently unstable, due to substantial idiosyncratic differences in behavior among communities and individuals in them. An aggressive, dominant wolf for example can greatly increase the chances of a pack in securing food, just as the death of a pack leader can lead to the pack's mass starvation.

specific features of tourism in Tanzania is almost completed after conducting an analysis.

specific features of tourism in Tanzania is almost completed after conducting an analysis of reviews is ready this is a very small beginnings do not miss the great wonders of Tanzania through this important article of tourism .. stay ready.....................

Tanzania, a country endowed with abundant wildlife, great and unique natural features, friendly and hospitable people and a superb climate, has gradually become a favorite destination for international tourism.
ZebraTanzania embodies all the attractions of Africa. With 14 National parks, numerous Games and Forest Reserves taking 38% of its landmass, it is truly a Garden of Eden on this earth; hence it invoked awe to many international tourists. From the fabled snow-capped highest free standing mountain in the world – Kilimanjaro, Game Park, historical and archaeological sites to virgin unspoilt beaches, the country has made positive gains in its approach to low impact/high yield sustainable tourism policy. This has led to the protection of environment from irreversible damage while at the same time creating a top-class Eco-tourism destination.
Given improved services in the tourism industry, the visitor can enjoy all the comforts and amenities of modern life, making the adventure of exploration to Tanzania, comfortable, enjoyable and extremely rewarding. There are so many ways to enjoy what our country offers that will make visitors never regret.
Following government’s liberalization policy, The National Tourism Policy was reviewed in 1999. The policy has clearly slept out vital and key essential elements that are aimed at promoting the country’s tourism industry by optimizing the private sector. The government will only play a regulatory role in policy formulation monitoring, regulating and collection of government revenue derived from the industry.
The policy also charts out the need for creation of new tourist products where the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism is now promoting the North Eastern Zone, Coastal Belt, Southern and Southern Highlands Zones as well as the southern extensive beaches along the Indian Ocean for investment. Emphasis is also placed on cultural tourism, which is now rapidly picking up water sports, historical and archaeological sites. Conference tourism is another new product being targeted.
To be continue......................... soon.

GLOBALIZATION: IMPACTS TO SOCIAL CULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT.

Globalisation has had a positive impact on the environment to some extent but there are still some crucial negative impacts of globalization in play. The negative impacts are mainly export-orientated destruction on the environment whilst the positive impacts are increase awareness and multinational corporations’ research into eco-friendly technology.

The main positive impact that globalisation has on the environment are that there is improvements in the use of resources and awareness and that due to globalisation research is being conducted that creates greener technology. Globalisation has assisted in improving the use of resources and saving the environment by promoting growth through development, improving education and incomes. The World Bank is an example of this as it has successfully helped Mexico City in the 1990s to reduce the number of unhealthy ozone days. Due to globalisation multinational corporations have been conducting research and creating technology to reduce the impact of humans on the environment often referred to as green technology. Some examples of greener technology are hybrid cars and the new ‘green’ Apple Mac. Hybrid cars are a green option for cars and they typically achieved greater fuel economy and lower emissions than normal cars which results in fewer emission being generation. Apple has stated that MacBook has been built “using materials that are highly recyclable and free of many of the harmful substances present in other computers.” The software and hardware have also een designed to work together to make the computer more energy efficient and to “minimze the carbon footprint of the MacBook.” Unfortunately the negative impacts of globalisation on the environment far outweigh the positives.

The main negative impact of globalisation on the environment is the impact of export-orientated destruction. The overuse of natural resources due to increased demand and also the removal of ecosystems due to population growth have had a large negative impact on the environment. Extensive deforestation has occurred world-wide with the logging industry being fuelled by the need for disposable products. 11 million acres a year are cut for commercial and property industries. Deforestation whether it is for an increase in demand or for expansion is causing a loss of biological diversity on the planet. In Australia 90% of native forest wood are exported, destroying Australia’s natural heritage. About one half of the forests that covered the Earth are gone. Each year, another 16 million hectares disappear. Deforestation is expanding and accelerating into the remaining areas of undisturbed forest. In Indonesia, powerful families allied with the government rulers control large and highly valuable timber concessions.
